PETALUMA, CA (July 31, 2023) – Saturday night, authorities arrested Miguel Cruz Lopez after a suspected DUI crash on Marina Avenue and Lakeville Highway.

According to the Petaluma Police Department, a vehicle rear-ended a vehicle at the intersection of Marina Avenue and Lakeville Highway. Then, the vehicle continued traveling and collided with a second vehicle at Lakeville Highway and Baywood Drive.

Moreover, officers confirmed that both drivers struck by the causing vehicle complained of pain after the crash.

Furthermore, officers arrested the causing driver, 28-year-old Cruz Lopez, on suspicion of DUI.
