LAS VEGAS, NV (May 26, 2021) – Tuesday night, Michelle Delbosque, 47, suffered fatal injuries in a hit-and-run crash on Washington Avenue and Lena Street.
The authorities received a report of the crash at about 8:30 p.m., revealed Lt. Bret Ficklin with LVMPD’s traffic bureau. Moreover, it happened on Washington Avenue at Lena Street, near Pecos Road on the north side of Reese Freedom Park.
As the woman walked in the crosswalk, an eastbound pickup truck struck her. Then, the pickup fled the scene. Meanwhile, responders transported the woman to Sunrise Trauma.
Ficklin identified the truck as a black Dodge Ram. The vehicle might have significant front-end damage, including missing paint and a broken grill.
Meanwhile, the LVMPD’s fatal detail responded and shut down Washington Avenue in both directions, on the north side of the park.
Later reports confirmed that the female victim, Ms. Delbosque, died from the injuries she sustained in the hit and run accident.
