1 Killed and 4 Injured in Spokane Valley Traffic Crash on Trent Avenue near Pines Road
SPOKANE VALLEY, WA (November 27, 2022) – Saturday afternoon, Michel Newcomb died in an accident on Trent Avenue near Pines Road.
The incident happened at around 2:25 p.m. on Trent Avenue near Pines Road.
According to the Washington State Patrol, a westbound 2019 Chevrolet Silverado veered towards incoming traffic. Then, it struck a 2006 Ford Explorer.
Moreover, responders pronounced the Ford driver, 69-year-old Michel J. Newcomb, dead at the scene. Then, paramedics transported the Chevrolet driver, 60-year-old Daniel J. Swain. They also transported his passengers, Jennifer E. Swain, 53; Jessica D. Swain, 20; and Callie E. Swain, 18, to a hospital with unknown injuries.
Furthermore, the collision blocked the eastbound lanes of the roadway but have long since reopened.
Meanwhile, the fatal accident remained under investigation.
