Apple Valley Car Accident Leaves 36-Year-Old Michael Simon Dead

 
Apple Valley, CA (September 29, 2020) – Last Monday, 36-year-old Michael Simon of Apple Valley died in a crash at the intersection of Dale Evans Parkway and Stoddard Wells Road.
 
The fatal accident happened at around 5:30 a.m. September 28 in Apple Valley.
 
The sheriff’s deputies said a white 2015 GMC Sierra pickup truck was moving east on Stoddard Wells Road. Then, it came to a stop at the stop sign at Dales Evans Parkway. The pickup truck failed to yield to traffic and entered the intersection.
 
At the same time, an orange 2020 Dodge Challenger traveling northbound broadsided the GMC.
 
Because of the impact, the GMC to rolled over. Meanwhile, the Dodge Challenger incurred major front-end damage.
 
Moreover, good samaritans at the crash scene tried life-saving measures on the Dodge driver, Mr. Simon.
 
Paramedics rushed the victim to a nearby hospital, where he died while undergoing treatment.
 
On the other hand, the GMC driver, a 46-year-old man of Bell Gardens, only sustained minor injuries. Also, the rescuers transported him to St. Mary Medical Center.
 
The Apple Valley Station Major Accident Investigation Team continues to investigate the fatal accident.
