Michael Roads Arrested for Fatal Arden-Arcade Pedestrian Accident on Arden Way and Watt Avenue

 
ARDEN-ARCADE, CA (January 14, 2021) – Tuesday night, a male pedestrian died in an accident near Arden Way and Watt Avenue.
 
The incident occurred at about 6:40 p.m. near Arden Way and Watt Avenue.
 
Moreover, the investigators with CHP North Sacramento Division revealed that the male pedestrian used the east crosswalk of the intersection. However, an eastbound white GMC Sierra pickup hit him on Arden Way.
 
As a result, the unidentified pedestrian died at the crash scene.
 
Meanwhile, the 69-year-old pickup driver from Carmichael spoke with the investigators.
 
Afterward, the CHP took Michael Roads into custody for suspicion of driving under the influence of alcohol.
 
The authorities continue to identify the cause of the Arden Arcade crash.
