Michael Niegowski Dead in Chelan County Single-Car Collision on Highway 20

 
CHELAN COUNTY, WA (July 5, 2019) – A man died in a single-car collision on Highway 20 on July 3.
 
Michael Niegowski, a Maple Falls resident, died after his 1999 Jeep Cherokee went off an embankment on Highway 20.
 
A passer-by saw his vehicle 300 feet down an embankment 33 miles west of Winthrop in a section of Chelan County.
 
The Washington State Patrol could not identify why or when Niegowski’s vehicle drove off the road. At this time, police did not release any other information regarding the crash at this time.
