Michael Massucco Injured in Dirt Bike Accident on Marysville Road [Camptonville, CA]

Camptonville, CA (May 21, 2023) – On Saturday, 51-year-old Michael Massucco and 62-year-old Arthur Shoji were injured in a dirt bike accident on Marysville Road.

The traffic accident happened at about 10:30 a.m. near Old Toll Road.

Investigating officers said Shoji and Massucco were riding their street-legal dirt bikes. Massucco slowed to pull onto the shoulder but Shoji accidentally rear-ended him. Both of them were ejected onto the street.

Massucco sustained a suspected broken collarbone while Shoji was airlifted with multiple broken bones, head trauma, and internal injuries.

Neither drugs nor alcohol are suspected and both riders were wearing helmets during the accident.

Officials are investigating.
