Michael Hoefs Killed in SUV Crash on Bouquet Canyon Road

 
Santa Clarita, CA (August 17, 2020) – On Saturday, Michael Hoefs died in a car crash on Bouquet Canyon Road.
 
The fatal accident happened around 3:57 p.m. near Texas Canyon Road.
 
The California Highway Patrol said a black Chevrolet Blazer with two people struck a tree for unidentified reasons.
 
Paramedics arrived and pronounced Hoefs dead at the scene. Meanwhile, the driver was immobilized in the wreckage. Firefighters had to use hydraulic tools to free the patient.
 
An ambulance took the driver to a trauma center in an unidentified condition.
 
Moreover, police have not yet released the identities of those involved in the crash. It is also unclear if speed, drugs or alcohol played a role in the crash.
 
The CHP investigates to determine the cause of the crash.
