Michael Gutierrez Arrested in DUI Accident on West Steele Lane [Santa Rosa, CA]

Santa Rosa, CA (May 19, 2023) On Thursday afternoon, 65-year-old Michael Gutierrez of Santa Rosa, as arrested after a DUI accident on West Steele Lane.

According to the Santa Rosa PD, the car-bicycle collision happened around 5:07 p.m. on West Steele Lane.

Reports say that Gutierrez hit a female bicyclist swerving into the lane with westbound traffic.

Authorities say that was travelling at about 15 mph at the time of the collision, however, the impact of the crash sent the bicyclist to the ground.

Medics transported the injured woman to a hospital, her current condition is not immediately available.

Meanwhile, police arrested Michael Steven Gutierrez on suspicion of possession of narcotics and possession of narcotics for sale, after officers searched his vehicle and found drug paraphernalia in it during their investigation.
