Injuries Reported in Deadly Multi-Vehicle Collision on Old San Antonio Road
Bryan, TX (January 12, 2023) On Tuesday evening, 21-year-old Michael Gray of Cumby died after an 18-wheeler struck a work convoy along Highway 21.
Police say that the deadly multi-vehicle collision happened between Old San Antonio Road and FM-50.
Reports say that an eastbound 2020 Peterbilt 18-wheeler struck all of the trucks in a convoy.
Officials say that the convoy consisted of a 2016 International, 2009 International, 2015 International, and a 2022 Ford F-250 pickup towing a trailer.
Furthermore, officials say that Gray was in a seat on the trailer being towed by the Ford pickup. Officials pronounced Gray dead at the scene.
Meanwhile, paramedics took the driver of the Ford and the drivers of two other trucks to CHI St. Joseph Hospital in Bryan.
Moreover, officials say that medics treated driver of the Peterbilt and the remaining truck in the convoy at the scene.
Authorities are investigating the deadly multi-vehicle collision nd have not released additional informatio at this time.
