2 Injured, Michael Davies Jr. Arrested after Sparks Car Crash
SPARKS, CA (September 23, 2019) – Two juveniles sustained injuries while another got arrested after a reckless driving crash on Del Rosa Way.
According to reports, the Sparks Police Department came to the scene at 11:45 a.m. to the 1800 block of Del Rosa Way after a report of a possible vehicle into a residence.
Multiple witnesses reported the gold 4-door passenger car traveling recklessly in the area moments before the crash on September 20.
Some of the occupants escaped the scene of the crash while another occupant is unconscious inside.
Officers found out that the crash didn’t cause any residential structure damages. However, they confirmed that some unoccupied parked vehicles got struck.
Five people occupied the gold car at the time of the crash and authorities located all of them.
SPD added that four of the occupants are juveniles and responders transported two of them to local area hospitals for treatment of non-life threatening injuries.
The officers also identified the driver as 18-year-old Michael Davies Jr. The driver suffered non-life-threatening injuries and also went to a local area hospital for treatment.
After that, the police arrested Davies Jr. for the following charges: leaving the scene of an accident with injuries, reckless driving, duty to decrease speed, speeding in a school zone, and no driver’s license.
