38-Year-Old Needles Dies after Hit-and-Run Crash near 4th Street
SAN BERNARDINO, CA (August 12, 2018) – A man was killed early Sunday morning after he was struck by a hit-and-run driver near 4th Street.
As per reports, the incident happened at about 4:20 AM. The San Bernardino County Fire Department paramedics arrived at the scene and found 38-year-old Needles resident Michael Brown lifeless on the sidewalk area just north of Waterman Avenue.
The preliminary investigation suggests that the victim was walking north on Waterman when he was hit by a driver that fled the scene. Debris from the suspect vehicle was left at the site of the crash and has been collected as evidence.
