Michael Andrus Killed, Ramon Machado Injured in Head-On Wreck on Highway 101 Near Reynolds Highway

 
WILLITS, CA (January 23, 2019) – A 51-year-old Kelseyville man died Friday as a result of a head-on collision on Highway 101 near Reynolds Highway.
 
Michael Paul Andrus was reportedly driving southbound in a Mercedes van when for unknown reasons a Dodge Ram pickup truck veered into his lane and struck his vehicle.
 
Ramon Machado of Leggett, the 71-year-old driver of the Ram pickup, suffered major injuries and was brought to Howard Memorial Hospital. Andrus was killed in the wreck.
 
California Highway Patrol is investigating the details of this crash and is seeking the public’s help in determining the ultimate cause.
