Las Vegas Car Accident on Martin Luther King Boulevard
LAS VEGAS, NV (July 30, 2019) – A Metropolitan Police Department officer sustained injuries in a car accident on Martin Luther King Boulevard.
The incident happened before 11:00 a.m. on July 30 on South Martin Luther King Boulevard near Symphony Park Avenue, Metro spokesman Larry Hadfield revealed.
A vehicle driver hit the left quarter panel of the Metro patrol car. As a result, responders transported the officer to University Medical Center for treatment.
By 12:15 p.m., the southbound lanes of Martin Luther King Boulevard finally reopened.
Police did not release any other information regarding the accident at this time. Authorities are still investigating the collision.
