Rollover Collision off I-90 Results in Injuries
George, WA (August 24, 2023) – At about 6 p.m. on Wednesday, two men were injured following a big rig crash on Road 1-Northwest.
Investigators said the driver was traveling too fast on Road 1-Northwest when the 18-wheeler truck rolled on a curve west of Beverly-Burke Road SW.
Two men who were riding the big rig at that time were trapped in the cab.
Rescues freed them and airlifted one man to Confluence Health Hospital-Central Campus in Wenatchee with injuries while the other man was transported by ambulance to Quincy Valley Medical Center.
The authorities said the big rig was hauling wine grapes at the time of the accident.
Officers are still investigating.
