Former Reality TV Star Hospitalized after Collision with 18-Wheeler near North Central Avenue
LOS ANGELES, CA (June 28, 2018) – A former reality TV star and model was hospitalized following a violent traffic collision involving an 18-Wheeler.
As per reports, 41-year-old Melyssa Ford was traveling on the Ventura Freeway when her 2017 Jeep Wrangler Sahara Unlimited was rear-ended by a tractor-trailer. The impact of the collision sent the Jeep into a tailspin, causing it to overturn three times before landing upside down.
Good Samaritans rushed to the scene to assist Ford while waiting for emergency crews to arrive. The “Blood, Sweat & Heels” star was transported to an area hospital, where it was confirmed that she suffered a skull fracture, concussion, and bleeding in her brain. Ford is under constant observation to ensure the radio personality’s recovery.
