Morning 2-Car Crash on Highway 33 in Mckittrick Injures One
MCKITTRICK, CA (April 24, 2019) – One person was hospitalized following a two-car crash Wednesday morning in Mckittrick, CHP officials said.
The crash took place at 5:31 a.m. on Highway 33 at Addie Avenue.
According to an initial log, a gold Ford Expedition and a Dodge Stratus were involved. One car reportedly swerved into the other, causing the collision.
One occupant were still inside the vehicle when officers arrived. That person suffered a head injury and complained of pain.
Paramedics took the patient to Kern Medical Center for proper treatment.
There were no descriptions of any vehicular damages but both cars were towed away from the crash site.
An ongoing investigation continues to determine the ultimate cause of the accident and liability.
