FONTANA, CA (December 7, 2021) – Sunday morning, Maurice McIntosh died in a traffic crash on Jurupa Avenue and Oleander Avenue.
 
The crash occurred at around 8:37 a.m. on Jurupa Avenue and Oleander Avenue.
 
According to reports, 25-year-old Maurice McIntosh of Fontana drove a 2017 BMW convertible. Then, it crashed with a 66-year-old man driving a Freightliner semi with container/chassis.
 
Some witnesses said that as McIntosh traveled west, he ran a red light.
 
Meanwhile, the semi drove south on Oleander, veering left to eastbound Jurupa Avenue on a green light. Then, McIntosh veered his BMW to avoid hitting the side of the chassis/container. However, the BMW went under the chassis sideways.
 
San Bernardino County Fire/Medics initiated lifesaving measures at the scene. However, Maurice McIntosh succumbed to his injuries at Arrowhead Regional Medical Center.
 
Meanwhile, McIntosh’s male passenger was in critical condition at ARMC.
 
Moreover, the semi-driver suffered no injuries in the crash.
