Matthew Norried Struck and Killed in San Jose Pedestrian Accident near North Capitol Avenue

 
SAN JOSE, CA (September 28, 2020) – Early Sunday morning, 37-year-old Matthew Norried died in a pedestrian crash on North Capitol Avenue in San Jose.
 
The authorities received a report of the crash just after midnight on North Capitol Avenue and McKee Road.
 
Moreover, a 2005 Chevrolet Silverado struck a man walking across the eastbound lanes of Mckee Road. Also, the police confirmed that the pedestrian was outside of the crosswalk when the crash occurred.
 
Afterward, responders transported the Fresno resident to a local hospital, where he later died. Moreover, the Santa Clara County Coroner’s Office identified him as Matthew Norried, 37.
 
Meanwhile, the vehicle driver didn’t suffer any injuries in the fatal accident.
 
Furthermore, the authorities urge anyone with information about the crash to call the traffic investigation unit at (408) 277-4654.
 
This fatality marks the 34th traffic death and the 14th deadly pedestrian versus automobile crash of 2020 in San Jose.
