Matthew Brown Killed in Deadly Crash on SH 135 [Cherokee County, TX]

Matthew Brown Injured in Deadly Head-On Collision on State Highway 135

Cherokee County, TX (March 20, 2023) On Thursday, 36-year-old Matthew Brown died after a head-on crash on State Highway 135.

According to DPS, Brown was driving a northbound vehicle that collided head-on with the southbound vehicle 51-year-old Tommy Kerzee of Jacksonville, was driving.

Officials say that medics rushed Kerzee to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, meanwhile, Matthew Brown was pronounced dead at the scene.

Authorities are investigating the deadly crash and have not released further details at this time.
