Mason Visman Dies in Hit-and-Run Crash on Mosquito Road [Placerville, CA]

Officers Arrest Erica Chambers in Placerville Fatal Collision

Placerville, CA (November 15, 2022) – On Saturday, the authorities located the dead body of Mason Visman in the bushes near a guardrail along Mosquito Road.

However, on Friday night, officers received a hit-and-run crash report in the area of Mosquito Road and Highway. Responding authorities located a Mercedes-Benz and a Prius, wherein the Mercedes-Benz driver, Erica Chambers, had fled the crash scene.

Later on, the authorities traced Chamber and booked her into the El Dorado County Jail on suspicion of DUI.

Then on Saturday, officers located Mason Visman who was wearing a tuxedo and was last seen at a wedding with Chambers. Though, the authorities have not established that the two were together when the collision took place.

The CHP stated that Chamber’s Mercedes rear-ended a Prius resulting in moderate damage to both cars. 

Chambers has not been indicted in Visman’s death. CHP said they are working with the district attorney on the investigation.
