MARYSVILLE, CA – Pedestrian Killed in Suspected DUI Crash on North Beale Road

Pedestrian Fatally Struck by DUI Driver on North Beale Road in Marysville

 
MARYSVILLE, CA (December 15, 2018) – A pedestrian was killed following a suspected DUI crash early Saturday morning in Marysville.
 
The fatal incident happened around 1:20 a.m. at 899 North Beale Road.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the pedestrian was struck by an unknown vehicle just in front of Rio Inn Suites. Yuba fire crews responded to the scene and attempted CPR and life-saving measures.
 
Sadly, the victim did not survive and was pronounced dead at the scene.
 
The driver of the vehicle was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence.
 
No identifying information is being released at this time. The incident remains under investigation.
