Three Vehicles Involved in Collision near Santiago Canyon Road

ORANGE, CA (December 6, 2018) – Two people were hospitalized after a multi-car crash on Highway 241, Thursday afternoon.

One of the victims was identified as Marvin Crocker. His age and place of residence were not yet released.

According to the California Highway Patrol, the collision took place at approximately 12:40 PM, near the Santiago Canyon Road off-ramp. Based on their report, three vehicles were involved in the incident. The parties were identified as a black BMW, a gray sedan, and a Ford F-150. The involved motorists were seen out of their vehicles in the ground.

Crocker was one of the two people who sustained injuries in the pile-up. He was taken to Orange County Global Medical Center and might undergo leg amputation after sustaining a broken right leg, a broken tibia and fibula of the left leg and possible head trauma. The second victim was taken to UCI Medical Center after sustaining burns to the back and for complaints of pain to the neck, head and back. The updates on their conditions were not yet released.

Towing services were ordered by fire officials to clear the area and prevent any traffic hazards. No further details have been disclosed to the public, as the investigation continues.
