FAIRFIELD, CA (June 13, 2021) – Early Friday morning, Martin Clifton died in a crash on Travis Boulevard at a Fairfield gas station.
 
According to reports, just before 5:20 a.m., a truck driver pumped gas in the 3000 block of Travis Boulevard. Then, 59-year-old Martin Clifton slid himself into the man’s truck and attached trailer.
 
After finishing his business, the driver who never saw Clifton drove off, running over the victim. Thus, the police tracked down the driver, they determined that he didn’t know he had struck someone.
 
The police confirmed that the driver has been cooperative with the investigation. Also, they added that the incident was not a hit-and-run.
