Las Vegas, NV (September 21, 2022) – Sunday evening, 53-year-old Mark Vobis sustained severe injuries in a crash on Saint Rose Parkway.

The hit-and-run crash in Las Vegas happened just before 8:00 p.m. on September 11.

Henderson Police said a driver hit Mark from behind, which knocked him off his bike, threw him to the ground, and destroyed the bicycle.

However, the driver fled the scene.

Police confirmed Vobis on the bike lane on the proper side of the road with a bike outfitted with a double flashing tail and headlights. 

EMS took Vobis to University Medical Center with life-threatening injuries.

There’s no evidence on the road that would give us any indication of a suspect vehicle either. Those combinations make it a very difficult case to solve.”
