ROSEVILLE, CA (May 2, 2022) – Saturday morning, Mark Tate suffered injuries in a crash on Duggans Road near Kasza Way.
 
The incident happened at about 11:10 a.m. on Duggans Road near Kasza Way.
 
According to reports, 62-year-old Mark Tate drove a 1995 Chevrolet 1500 pickup on Duggans Road. Then, his southbound pickup veered off the road to the right.
 
“Mr. Tate lost control of the truck and collided with a PG&E power pole,” CHP revealed. “The power pole sheared off and struck a parked 1991 Toyota 4Runner on the dirt shoulder near the roadway.”
 
Then, the 4Runner struck a fence. As a result, towing services took both vehicles. Then, responders took Tate to a Roseville hospital for major, but non-life-threatening, injuries.
 
Also, the authorities shut down Duggans Road for some two hours as PG&E crews took the downed power lines.
 
“It is expected PG&E crews will be in the area replacing the pole and restoring power throughout Saturday afternoon and possibly into Sunday,” reports said. “PG&E will have a traffic control crew in the area when necessary.”
 
Due to the limited information available, the authorities continue to investigate the crash.
 
“Neither alcohol, drugs, or excessive speed appear to have been factors in this collision,“ reports added.
