Mark Bocanegra Killed in Church Avenue Scooter Crash [Highland, CA]

Highland, CA (September 12, 2021) – On Saturday, Mark Bocanegra died in a scooter crash on Church Avenue.

The accident took place at about 8:15 p.m. at the intersection with Stratford Street.

Officers said Bocanegra was southbound on Church Avenue when the front of his scooter crashed into the passenger’s side of a 2015 Ford F150.

Right away, rescuers provided life-saving measures but Bocanegra still died at the scene.
