1 Killed in Novato Pedestrian Accident on Redwood Boulevard, Mario Trigueros-Santos Arrested

 
NOVATO, CA (June 9, 2020) – Early Monday morning, Mario Trigueros-Santos was arrested after a fatal hit-and-run crash on Redwood Boulevard.
 
The incident occurred about 5:00 a.m. on Redwood Boulevard at Rush Creek Place in Novato.
 
When the first officer arrived at the scene, he found an unresponsive woman down in the road. However, there was no vehicle in the area.
 
Afterward, responders took her to Marin General Hospital, where she later succumbed to her injuries. At this time, the police haven’t determined her identity.
 
As the police investigate the fatal crash, 48-year-old Mario Trigueros-Santos came back to the scene and admitted that he hit the pedestrian.
 
Then, the police arrested Mario Trigueros-Santos on suspicion of felony hit-and-run. Moreover, the police booked him into Marin County Jail.
 
As a result of the crash, the road remained closed for multiple hours.
