SACRAMENTO, CA (October 12, 2020) – On Saturday night, 63-year-old Mario Ortiz Carreno was suspected to be killed in a hit-and-run crash on Rio Linda Boulevard.
 
According to authorities, at around 9:30 p.m., police responded to reports about an injured man on Rio Linda Boulevard near Las Palmas Avenue in Sacramento.
 
Moreover, Mario Ortiz Carreno of Sacramento sustained serious injuries and died at the scene, said the police.
 
Subsequently, no vehicle was found at the scene of the crash, and therefore authorities declared the incident hit-and-run.
