Sun Valley, NV (October 14, 2023) On Thursday afternoon, 45-year-old Mario Martinez was arrested after a suspected DUI crash on Marcel Court.

According to Washoe County Deputies, the DUI crash happened near East 4th Avenue and Marcel Court.

Reports say that 45-year-old Mario Alberto Martinez struck a child who just got off a school bus.

Officials say that first responders found the victim being tended to by fellow students and the school bus driver. Medics transported the child to a hospital.

Deputies arrested Martinez for driving under the influence, which was his third offense.
