EVERETT, WA (December 14, 2021) – Saturday, 40-year-old Mario Aguilar Velasquez died in a pedestrian crash on Airport Road.
 
According to reports, Mario Aguilar Velasquez crossed the street at about 2:15 a.m. As he crossed in the 11900 block of Airport Road, a southbound black 2010 Lexus struck him.
 
Then, responders took him to Providence Regional Medical Center Everett. However, he later succumbed to his injuries.
 
Meanwhile, the authorities believed that Velasquez used a crosswalk at the time of the crash. However, the driver had a green light and right-of-way to pass through the intersection.
 
At this time, the authorities haven’t made any arrests. Also, the authorities do not believe that drugs or alcohol played a role in the crash.
 
Reports confirmed that Mario Velasquez died of blunt-force injuries. Also, the Snohomish County Medical Examiner’s Office confirmed that the manner of death was an accident.
