Marino Lopez of Fresno Dies in Hit-and-Run Crash on California Street [Stockton, CA]

Stockton, CA (November 08, 2021) – On Sunday, 24-year-old Marino Lopez of Fresno died in a hit-and-run crash on California Street.

The deadly accident took place near Wyandotte Street.

Investigators said Lopez was trying to cross the four lanes of traffic on California Street.

Unfortunately, he was struck by a driver and fell on the ground. However, he was run over by a second driver. 

Neither of the two drivers stopped.

Lopez succumbed to his injuries at the crash scene. 

Reports said the victim is in Stockton to attend the funeral of a friend who died in a crash.
