Car Accident at 5330 Silverado Trail in Napa Shuts Roadways

 
Napa County, CA (July 23, 2020) – On Thursday afternoon, 19-year-old Marina Maher sustained injuries in a multi-vehicle collision at 5330 Silverado Trail.
 
The collision was reported after 3:30 p.m., on July 23. CHP said four vehicles involved in the collision, Moreover, Ms. Maher sustained injuries from avoiding a southbound van that drove in the direction of her BMV.
 
She swerved onto the shoulder to avoid the van, then lost control of her vehicle, which moved into the southbound lane in the path of a pickup truck driven by Arnoldo Villegas, 40, of Fairfield as he was slowing to avoid the incident.
 
The driver’s side of the BMW hit the front of the pickup, which was collided into a vehicle driven by Ismael Caro, 59, of Vallejo who attempted to stop in time.
 
Everyone wore their seatbelts; however, medics took Marina Maher to Queen of the Valley Medical Center.
 
Moreover, the incident closed the Silverado Trail between Oak Knoll Avenue and Yountville Cross Road. It has since reopened at 5:50 p.m.
 
A further investigation to determine the cause of the crash is ongoing.
