1 Killed and 2 Hurt in Lake Elsinore DUI Accident on Lake Street and Grand Avenue

 
LAKE ELSINORE, CA (August 15, 2022) – Saturday night, authorities arrested Margarita Rosales after a crash on Lake Street and Grand Avenue.
 
According to the authorities, the incident happened at around 10:30 p.m. Also, the crash occurred on Lake Street and Grand Avenue.
 
Reports revealed that a northbound SUV struck a sedan as it attempted to make an eastbound turn onto Lakeshore Drive. Meanwhile, the SUV driver fled the scene after the crash.
 
Moreover, responders pronounced the sedan driver dead at the scene. Paramedics transported two passengers of the sedan to a hospital with major injuries.
 
Furthermore, officers managed to locate and arrest the SUV driver, 32-year-old Margarita Rosales of Santa Ana. Also, officers booked Rosales on suspicion of manslaughter, DUI, and two counts of felony hit-and-run. Her bail was set at $75,000 bail.
 
Meanwhile, the incident remained under investigation.
