71-Year-Old Morgan Hill Woman Killed in Pedestrian Crash near Venetian Way
MORGAN HILL, CA (November 9, 2018) – A woman was killed Friday evening following a pedestrian crash near Venetian Way. The victim was later identified as 71-year-old Margaret Snively, a resident of Morgan Hill.
According to officers with the Morgan Hill Police Department, the incident occurred at about 8:10 PM. A pedestrian was walking north across Watsonville Road when she was struck by a vehicle.
Snively suffered serious injuries and was rushed to a local trauma center for treatment and evaluation. Unfortunately, she succumbed to her injuries and was pronounced dead shortly after arriving. Meanwhile, the unidentified driver of the vehicle remained at the scene and cooperated with investigators.
