Motorized Tricycle Rider Dies after Solo Crash near Greenspot Road

HIGHLAND, CA (November 5, 2018) – A man was killed Monday evening following a motorized tricycle crash near Greenspot Road. The victim was later identified as 35-year-old Marcus Haynes, a resident of San Bernardino.

As per reports, the incident happened on Boulder Avenue, at about 9:20 PM. Deputies and paramedics responded to the scene and found Haynes, the operator of a motorized tricycle, unresponsive in the roadway. Events that led to the collision were not immediately available.

Haynes suffered fatal injuries and was pronounced dead on site by emergency responders. No other drivers and vehicles were involved in the accident.

The fatal crash is being investigated by the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department Highland Station Major Accident Investigation Team (MAIT). Anyone who may have witnessed the incident is encouraged to cooperate with investigators as soon as possible. Additional information will be released once it becomes available.
