Marcelo Pruneda and Palemon Ambrocio Killed in State Route 26 Vehicle Collision [Othello, WA]

Othello, WA (September 20, 2022) – Just past 9 p.m. on Monday, Marcelo Pruneda, 68, of Warden, and Palemon Ambrocio, 51, of Othello, died in a State Route 26 vehicle collision.

According to the authorities, Palemon Ambrocio Lauriano was driving a southbound 2002 Hyundai Elantra on Reynolds Road when he failed to yield to an eastbound 2004 Chevrolet Silverado driven by Marcelo Pruneda.

Palemon Ambrocio drove across the freeway and collided with the pickup truck.

The pickup truck overturned and both of the vehicles rested on the southeast corner of the highway.

Sadly, both Marcelo Pruneda and Palemon Ambrocio lost their lives at the scene. 

In the meantime, the authorities are investigating the Othello traffic collision. They say Marcelo Pruneda was not wearing a seatbelt at the time of the crash.
