Injuries Reported in Calistoga Motorcycle Accident on Highway 29 and Diamond Mountain Road

 
CALISTOGA, CA (April 12, 2022) – Saturday night, Marc Ferneau and Laura March suffered injuries in a motorcycle crash on Highway 29.
 
The incident occurred at about 9:45 p.m. south of Highway 29, north of Diamond Mountain Road. According to reports, the crash involved a motorcycle and a pickup truck.
 
56-year-old Marc Ferneau of Napa headed south in a 2018 Harley-Davidson Road Glide. Then, 57-year-old Laura M. March of St. Helena rode as Fernau’s passenger.
 
Meanwhile, a 2021 Ford F-150 pickup approached in the northbound lane of Highway 29. However, the motorcycle went across the center line into the pickup’s path. As a result, the driver failed to avoid the crash.
 
Then, the motorcycle crashed into the left front area of the Ford. Moreover, the impact ejected Ferneau and March from the bike.
 
Thus, responders transported Marc Ferneau to Providence Santa Rosa Memorial Hospital. Meanwhile, they took Lara March to Providence Queen of the Valley Medical Center.
 
Meanwhile, the 69-year-old and 66-year-old occupants of the Ford pickup from Calistoga suffered no injuries.
 
At this time, the authorities believed that alcohol played a role in the crash.
