Manuel Valenzuela Killed, Jose Alfaro-Gomez Hurt in Eltopia Rollover Crash

 
ELTOPIA, WA (June 4, 2019) – A Connell man died in a rollover accident in Eltopia on early Saturday, June 1.
 
At around 4:30 a.m., 21-year-old Manuel S. Valenzuela drove south on Highway 395. Then his Chrysler 300 veered into the median near Eltopia West Road approximately 17 miles north of Pasco.
 
The car rolled over and killed Manuel Valenzuela.
 
According to the Washington State Patrol, Jose P. Alfaro-Gomez,a passenger in the vehicle, suffered injuries in the incident. Paramedics transported 27-year-old Alfaro-Gomez, of Connell, to Lourdes Medical Center.
 
Both men wore their seat belts, said the WSP.
 
The cause of the incident is still under investigation.
