MARINA, CA (January 21, 2020) – Authorities confirmed that a car struck and killed a man in a wheelchair on Imjin Parkway on Tuesday night.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the incident happened near 3rd Avenue at approximately 5:30 PM.
 
Reports from the Marina Police Department showed that paramedics transported the victim to a local hospital. However, the victim later died due to severe injuries.
 
The driver of the vehicle stayed at the scene and cooperated with the police.
