1 Dead and 5 Injured in Shingletown Crash on Black Butte Road and Wildcat Road
SHINGLETOWN, CA (June 29, 2021) – Monday morning, a man died in a two-vehicle accident on Black Butte Road and Wildcat Road.
The crash occurred just after 11:45 a.m. on Black Butte Road and Wildcat Road.
According to the CHP, a Honda Pilot driver headed south on Black Butte Road. Then, he drove across the double yellow line at a blind curve. Afterward, he crashed head-on with a Honda Odyssey.
As a result, the Honda Pilot’s driver succumbed to his injuries at the scene. Meanwhile, five occupants of the Honda Odyssey suffered minor to moderate injuries.
The crash led to a two-hour road closure during the investigation.
