Fatal Pedestrian Crash on Palmdale Road in Victorville

 
VICTORVILLE, CA (January 27, 2020)—A pedestrian died Friday night after being struck by a vehicle on Palmdale Road near Borrego Road.
 
The 6:50 p.m. incident unfolded in the 15000 block of Palmdale Road. According to reports, a dark-colored 2005 Chevrolet Tahoe SUV, heading eastbound on Palmdale Road, struck the male pedestrian.
 
Officers learned that the SUV driver did not see the pedestrian until it had been too late. The unidentified driver cooperated with police investigations, which ruled out impairment as a factor in the accident.
 
As for the victim, his identity remains unknown at this time.
