Pedestrian Crash on Owens Avenue and Eastern Avenue Kills 1 Man
Las Vegas, NV (July 19, 2020) – On Friday, a 70-year-old man died in a pedestrian crash on Owens Avenue and Eastern Avenue.
The fatal crash occurred at about 3:19 p.m. in northeast Valley.
The police report said the victim was getting across Eastern Avenue south of the intersection with Owens.
Just then, he was struck by a 1991 Ford F-150 and forced him to the ground.
Authorities rushed the victim to UMC Trauma where he later died.
Meanwhile, the involved driver stayed at the scene and cooperated with the investigation. Police said he did not show any signs of impairment. Also, they said speed does not appear to be a factor in the accident.
Police continue to investigate the crash.
