SACRAMENTO, CA (November 19, 2020) – On Wednesday morning, a crash on Interstate 80 and Raley Boulevard left one man dead.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the incident occurred at around 1:40 a.m. It happened on the offramp from Interstate 80 to Raley Boulevard.
 
Responders pronounced the victim dead at the scene of the Sacramento accident.
 
The driver involved remained at the scene and called 911.
 
Authorities believe that weather played a role in the I-80 crash.
 
All lanes of I-80 westbound at Raley Boulevard were shut down for hours overnight to give way to the investigation.
 
All lanes are now open to motorists.
