1 Dead in Parkland Pedestrian Accident on 112th Street

 
PARKLAND, WA (December 10, 2020) – On Tuesday, a pedestrian crash killed a man on 112th Street in Parkland, Washington.
 
According to Parkland Sheriff’s officials, the incident happened at around 6:00 p.m. Moreover, it occurred in the 600 block of 112th Street East.
 
Reports revealed that responding deputies and medics found a 49-year-old male critically injured at the scene. Paramedics pronounced the man dead at the scene later.
 
The 77-year-old driver of the vehicle involved, remained at the scene to cooperate with the authorities.
 
According to the deputies, it was dark and rainy at the time of the crash. Investigators said that the driver claims the man suddenly stepped in front of the vehicle, and he had no time to stop.
 
The incident is under active investigation.
