Pedestrian Killed by Vehicle in Accident on West First Street

 
Santa Ana, CA (February 05, 2021) – On Wednesday, an adult man lost his life in a pedestrian accident on West First Street.
 
Officers received the crash report at 9:04 p.m. at the Santa Ana Riverbed.
 
When they arrived, they located the male pedestrian down in the roadway suffering major injuries.
 
Right away, Orange County Fire Authority (OCFA) personnel began to treat the victim. But he was later pronounced dead at the scene.
 
Moreover, reports said the pedestrian was crossing First Street from north to south when a vehicle heading west struck him.
 
Meanwhile, the involved driver stayed at the scene and cooperated with the investigation. Authorities do not believe alcohol to be a factor in this incident.
