Unidentified Man Fatally Struck by Car near 210 Freeway
REDLANDS, CA (June 5, 2018) – A man was struck and killed in a pedestrian accident on Interstate 10, early Tuesday morning. His identity was not immediately released to the public.
According to California Highway Patrol reports, a man was attempting to run across the eastbound lanes of the 10 Freeway, when hit by a blue Toyota Echo. The accident took place on the I-10, just west of the 210 freeway, around 4:30 AM.
The driver pulled over into the center divider and contacted emergency officials. All lanes of the highway were shut down as paramedics aided the man and authorities began their investigation. The unidentified man was pronounced dead at the scene.
There is no additional information on the events leading up to the collision at this time.
