Unidentified Man Killed in Seattle Pedestrian Accident

 
SEATTLE, WA (April 26, 2020) – Thursday afternoon, a male pedestrian was killed in an accident while trying to stop a bus on Elliot Avenue.
 
According to the Seattle Police Department, the deadly auto accident occurred just before 5:45 p.m. on Elliot Avenue West and West Roy Street.
 
The authorities revealed that the man was attempting to stop a southbound Metro coach. However, the witnesses revealed that he slipped and fell into the street into the path of the coach. Although the bus driver tried to avoid the crash, the impact still left the pedestrian with fatal injuries.
 
The Seattle Police Department said the fatal accident happened just before 5:45 p.m. at Elliot Avenue West and West Roy Street.
 
When the Seattle Fire arrived at the crash scene, they pronounced the male pedestrian dead at the scene.
 
Meanwhile, the Seattle Police assessed the driver to know whether he showed any signs of impairment. The police’s evaluation of the driver is a standard procedure in any serious injury collision. Upon evaluation, the police then confirmed that the bus driver didn’t show signs of impairment.
 
The investigators and the Metro Transit are working hand in hand to solve the case which remains under active investigation.
