Pedestrian Dies after Hit by Vehicle on Dillon Road in Coachella

 
COACHELLA, CA (July 30, 2019) – A man died late Sunday night in a pedestrian accident on Dillon Road in Coachella.
 
According to the authorities, a vehicle fatally struck the pedestrian just before 11:30 p.m. in the 46000 block of Dillon Road. The man, whose name has not been released, died at the scene of the collision.
 
The deputies said the driver remained at the scene and was cooperative with the investigators. They do not believe that drugs and alcohol were factors in the crash.
 
The driver was later taken to the hospital for medical observation and was not arrested.
