1 Dead in Henderson Motorcycle Accident on Warm Springs Road
HENDERSON, NV (November 29, 2019) – A 25-year-old man died in a motorcycle accident on Warm Springs Road on November 27.
The incident involved a motorcycle and a pickup truck. The crash occurred at about 11:21 p.m. on eastbound Warm Springs Road at Grayson Circle near Green Valley Parkway.
The 47-year-old driver of a 2002 Chevrolet pickup traveled east on Warm Springs Road while the 2008 Honda motorcycle struck the truck from behind.
The motorcyclist, whose identity remains unreleased due to pending family notification, died at the scene.
Meanwhile, authorities shut down the eastbound lanes of Warm Springs Road from Heavenly View to the 3100 block of West Warm Springs Road for around 4.5 hours during the investigation.
Authorities are considering speed as a factor in the collision. It is still unknown whether impairment also played a role.
HPD said speed was considered a factor but it was unclear if impairment was a factor.
